2020-07-13 Journal
Another warm and mostly sunny day today.
My new filter set came!
I picked up the Entry Level kit for Kase Wolverine Series Magnetic filters.
I ran across some articles and videos about this set and was really impressed. Good quality filters that are Water Proof, Oil Proof, and near indestructible, not to mention easy to use since they're magnetic.
This comes with the UV Filter that doubles as the magnetic mount, the Circular Polarizer, and the ND64 (6 stop) Neutral Density Filter, a Cap, a Pouch, and a Cleaning cloth.
The UV Filter screws onto the lens and then the others just stick onto it. It's pretty nice.
After unboxing the filters I took some shots outside with the Polarizer on to test it out.
I'll test the ND filter out earlier in the day when I have a chance.
My only complaint is that the Polarizer doesn't have any markings on it to tell where max polarization is, but a dot with a silver sharpy at one of the max points fixed that.
