2020-09-12 Journal
Today was the first real test of my new lens - the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS, with the Olympus MC-20 2.0x teleconverter.
I took a huge amount of photos, and whittled it down to a reasonable set to process.
I'll post a few of my favorites here in the journal, see the gallery for more!
All of these were shot using the lens and the teleconverter. Focus for moving subjects was usually a 9 point center grid. I'm not sure if that's ideal or not for birds and running critters. Maybe full sensor autofocus would be better? I was primarily using the EE-1 Red dot rather than the EVF for sighting critters in motion. That makes it MUCH easier to follow them.
